A kid friendly snack which is also a great accompaniment for evening tea and to entertain guests. This snack is simple and easy to prepare, and requires bare minimum number of ingredients. Try it for yourself and enjoy!!!!
Ripe bananas/ Pazutha ethapazham 3 nos (do not use robusta or similar kinds)
Grated coconut ½ cup
Cardamom powder ¼ tsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Bread crumbs ½ cup
Milk ¼ cup
Ghee/ butter 1 TBSP
Steam cook the bananas until soft with skin on. Peel off the skin and mash the bananas well. Add the grated coconut, sugar and cardamom powder. Mix well with your hands. Make medium size balls with the banana mix and flatten like cutlets. Dip in milk and roll in breadcrumbs. Set aside.
Heat little ghee/ butter in a pan and pan fry the cutlets. Serve hot with tea.
