Green chilly 3 nos
Garam masala ½ tsp

*If chicken is not available in the ground form, take chicken breasts and cut to small cubes. Run through a blender and use in the above recipe.

In a pressure cooker, heat oil and add the ground onion and shallots. Saute until translucent and add the ginger garlic paste and green chilly. Saute for couple of minutes and tomato puree. Mix well and cook until oil separates. Now add turmeric powder, red chilly powder and coriander powder. Mix well and cook until raw smell goes off. Add salt and 1 ½ cup water. Bring this to a boil. When boiling, add the chicken kofta balls CAREFULLY. Close the pressure cooker with the lid and cook till 1 whistle. Allow the pressure to release itself. Open the cooker, give a mix and add the ground coconut. MIX WELL and cook till boiling, then add 1 tsp lemon juice. Switch off flame and garnish with coriander leaves. This goes very well with rotis or rice…

Chicken kofta curry

You can replace chicken with any meat of your choice.
You can add potatoes, if you like them..
