Spicy baked sweet potato wedges (Serves 4)

Spicy baked sweet potato wedges

3 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut to wedges
½ teaspoon Kashmiri chilly powder
¼ teaspoon cumin powder
¼ teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon black sesame seeds
1 tablespoon olive oil


Preheat oven to 200 C.

Peel and wash the sweet potatoes. Pat dry and cut to wedges.

In a bowl add the wedges and all other ingredients. Toss well and set aside for 5 minutes.

Spray a baking sheet with oil and arrange the wedges in a single layer.

Bake for 30 minutes turning half way through. Change the oven to broil mode for the last 2 minutes to get a crispy texture.

Serve immediately.
